Business Intelligence (BI)
Business intelligence (BI), or the discovery and interpretation of large data sets, is an important factor in nearly every 21st century industry. Industries as varied as healthcare, manufacturing or even professional sports, have embraced the insights that come with implementing its principles.

• Business Intelligence Concepts, Tools, and Applications
  This course introduces how business intelligence technologies can enhance decision-making across diverse business sectors. You will gain the knowledge you need for using data warehouses for business intelligence purposes.
• Business Analytics
  This course introduces big data analytics to business professionals, including those with no experience. It will help you develop data literacy and an analytic mindset to help enhance decisions made with data.
• Strategic Business Analytics
  This course is designed for business analysts and data scientists who desire to apply their statistical knowledge and techniques to business contexts. You will also learn how to take the results of your analysis and present them to stakeholders for smart business decisions.
• Design and Build a Data Warehouse for Business Intelligence Implementation
  This course teaches how to design and build data warehouses, create data workflows, write SQL statements to support analytical requirements and create dashboards/visualizations.

Business Organization
All business entities are not the same. Some provide owners a lot of flexibility in management and control and some do not. Some provide owners a significant degree of protection from liability and some do not. And some are heavily regulated, and some are not. On top of these differences is the fact that our tax code provides different tax treatments for different business entities. All these factors should be considered when an entrepreneur is selecting the type of business entity she or he wishes to use for her or his business.
Our educational approach allows you to look at the primary choices an entrepreneur has by breaking them down into two broad categories. First, we’ll look at unlimited liability entities, or those business organizations that don’t provide the owner or owners any protection from personal liability, such as sole proprietorships and general partnerships. Then, we’ll examine limited liability entities, which are business organizations that usually limit an owner’s liability to his or her investment in the business, such as corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships.

Entrepreneurship
Most new job openings today are in small businesses, and most successful business leaders display a great deal of entrepreneurial behavior. Entrepreneurial Studies is an interdisciplinary major that focuses on the tools needed to start a new business, manage a small business, expand a family business, lead innovation efforts in a corporate environment, or become an effective manager in a fast-growing enterprise. Services are offered to both men and women, including projects that offer professional consulting to assist local businesses.

Project Management
Across the public and private sectors, more and more organizations now recognize the value of running aspects of their business in the form of projects, managed using project management concepts, tools and techniques. This has led to a growing demand for skilled project managers. With comprehensive modules designed by our experts with extensive professional and research experience, this evidence-based course draws on current theories and practices to prepare you for a successful career as a project manager. It also offers a high level of flexibility; you’ll be able to choose modules that are relevant to your sector or your career aims. Unlike many other courses in this field, you don’t need to have an engineering or technical background to join the course.

Supply Chain Management
Our experts will help you to understand how modern supply chain ecosystems now comprise of a network of companies, countries and their governments, social and political organizations, natural, industrial (clusters), financial and human resources, delivery infrastructure including logistics and IT, and knowledge of the industrial environment. You will see how within these ecosystems; each configuration is unique to the enterprise that owns that supply chain. It is said that in today’s market, firms don’t compete, supply chains do. This course explains what supply chain design is and provides insights on how to design supply chains to give them competitive advantages over competing supply chains. Supply risk involves adverse and unexpected changes to any elements of a supply chain ecosystem.
The aim of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) is to reduce supply chain vulnerability by identifying and managing risks within the supply chain and external to it. The course gives examples of resource uncertainties, characteristics of Wicked problems, and describes the elements of a cyber-attack.
